Victoria
is an award winning acrylic painter and mixed media artist. She
makes her home in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
As a signature member of the International Society of Acrylic
Painters, she was the first place winner in the Sixth International
Open Exhibition held in Santa Fe, New Mexico in August of 2002.

She also placed first in the 2003 Studio Works Show
at the Gulf Coast Museum of Art in Largo, Florida.
Victoria’s solo show in Chelmsford, Massachusetts in the fall of
2003 was a success. Art critics and patrons alike praised her work.
Ms. Pierce was one of 25 artists featured in ‘Watercolor Magic
Magazine’s Yearbook 2002’ article on watercolor artists to watch.
Years of traveling and working as a professional photojournalist in
Massachusetts allowed Victoria to compile enormous collections of
slides and images, which help to feed her creative spirit. She often
works in a series using her Polaroid transfer process. Manipulating,
tinting and collaging these images produces original works of art
and calls upon her camera skills as well as her many talents in
mixed media.
Currently her work can be seen
in San Miguel de Allende at Galeria Barro located at Fabrica la
Aurora, La 3rd Muestra de Atre Contemporaneo San Miguel de Allende
2008 at the Museo del Ayuntamiento and at her Studio/Gallery in her
home.
